London Bridge Status Late August 2016

(above) Another On Track Machine. From Friday September 2nd these lines will be the Up and Down Cannon Street lines, and when this picture was taken were being slewed over at the Western end of the station to regain the alignment over Borough High Street. The crane here is approximately where the old Up Passenger Loop was, and in the top right between the hoarding and canopy the last remaining part of the old footbridge can be glimpsed. No doubt for demolition shortly, now platforms 1 - 3 are out of use.
