Whilst not directly related to Southern Electric modelling, this kit is designed produced by great friends of Southern Electric modellers, so we are pleased to draw it to your attention .

Kits of commercial vehicles of any era in 7mm scale are rare, but here is a new resin kit that will suit those that model the 1950s, early 1960s period. It is of a Bedford R lorry with a flat back, and a three plank drop-side back is under development. It has been designed by Dr. Arun Shama and will be available from Radley Models.

To follow from the very same stable is something which will be of definite interest to Southern Electric modellers - a 7mm scale kit of DS74, the Durnsford Road shunter (in its final condition). Below is an illustration of the CAD artwork to whet your appetite!
