Class 458/5 out and about
The introduction to service of Class 458/5 units can be described as "measured". At the time of writing only four units, 458531, 458533, 458534 and 458535 have been sighted carrying passengers. This page records 458/5s earning their keeps in their early days.
New units for old! On 14th April long term pair 458531 and 458534 are in platform 16 waiting to work the 15:58 to Windsor & Eton Riverside whilst on the other platform face 8025 is at the head of the 16:05 to Reading.

In April a five car working of Class 458/5 stock was rare. The 13:28 Waterloo to Windsor & Eton Riverside is about to stop at Clapham Junction on 17th April comprised only of 458531.
