Desiro Day!
Modern Locomotives Illustrated Magazine is running a "Desiro Day" on 26th September 2009, giving unlimited travel on South West Trains services for £20 (all routes except West of Basingstoke to Exeter/Bristol, Salisbury-Romsey-Southampton and Ryde-Shanklin). Tickets are only available using the form printed in MODERN LOCOMOTIVES ILLUSTRATED #178 DESIRO EMUs (August-September 2009 edition). This will be on the bookshelves of most major newsagents until the end of September. There is no other way to get a ticket except by using this form. Anyone wanting to take advantage of this offer should get the form in IMMEDIATELY, as MLI need about 7-10 days to get the tickets out.
