377/6 Units South of Purley

A weekend closure of London Bridge for terminating services 29th and 30th March 2014 resulted in Norwood Junction temporarily being the London End of the line. This resulted in 377/6 units unusually (since their consolidation on their intended suburban services) operating on the Brighton Main Line south of Purley, as seen here at Salfords with 377619 and 377624 operating the 14:19 Norwood Junction to Horsham train on 29th March. photographs by Ian Buck |
