Hornby Bite the Bullet!

For their 2009 programme of models Hornby have announced they are producing the Class 395 Hitachi Bullet Train EMU (to be known as "Javelin" during the 2012 Olympics). This will appear, hopefully in September 2009, as a 4 car Train Pack (DTSO - MSO - MSO - DTSO) and separate intermediate cars (MSO) so that a realistic 6 car set can be represented. Further details and specification are awaited. Good news indeed for those who model the current Southern Electric scene.
