Despite there having been at least one Wessex Unit stored at Brighton since 15th November 2007 there has been a dearth of photographs of this class there. We are therefore delighted to have received these shots from Harley Hunt, of 2402 and 2410 taken on 17th March. 2410 was moved, accompanied by 73136, back to Eastleigh later in the day.

Training for drivers commenced on 9th June between Lovers Walk and Three Bridges, though on the first day this also included an excursion into platform 5 at Brighton Station. This is believed to be the first time a Wessex unit has entered the station since this group's Coming of Age Railtour on the 7th December 1991 (for a picture please click here) with unit 2413.
