Western side of bridge looking north at the bridge being extended onto the long disused piers Looking north it can be seen how the long-disused piers are being used to aid construction and access over the River Thames.
South end of bridge eastern side A view of the eastern side of the south end of the bridge with a train of two 377/5 units departing south.
Looking north towards City Thameslink showing how the trackes have been slewed to the east Looking north from platform 1 towards City Thameslink Station showing how the through lines have been slewed to the eastern side of the bridge. This change has been to eliminate the previous conflicting movements at the south end of the station between through trains, which arrive from and depart to the east (London Bridge station) and terminating trains which arrive from and depart to the south (via Elephant and Castle).
Site of 179/181 Queen Victoria Street The through lines can curently be viewed from New Bridge Street and the gap is the site of the former 179/181 Queen Victoria Street.
