East Croydon Redevelopment: Footbridge Sections
During the period of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, work on the construction of the new footbridge has continued off of Railway land.
Over the weekend of 15/16 September 2012, the three staircases are due to be craned into position on the platforms, one from the west of the Station and the other two from the eastern side. Temporary steps will replace the ramp from platforms 5/6 to the subway. The spans covering the railway are scheduled to fitted sometime in November.
